For those who have enjoyed Maui in the past, with its natural beauty, activities, golfing, dining, and beaches, it comes as no surprise that Maui was voted (yet again) by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler magazine as the “Best Island in the World”. In the 20 years that readers have been ranking islands, Maui has garnered the top honor 16 times.
And this year (as it happens sometimes), Maui was not only the Best Island, but also the Best Tourist destination. In addition to its recognition as a whole, Maui hotels swept the list of “Top Hawaii Resorts”. The Four Season at Wailea and Hotel Hana-Maui took first and second place, respectively. Offering a varied array of atmospheres, such as Paia’s laid back attitude, Makawao’s cowboy history, Kihei’s sense of community, Lahaina’s vibrant nightlife, not to mention some of the best beaches and golf courses in the world, Maui has something to please even the most discerning visitor.

Congratulations to Maui again, this is unbelievable, Maui is the only island to score above 90, making it No. 1 in the world for the sixteenth time. Also worth mentioning, it also garnered “Best Pacific Island” for the 20th consecutive year.I must visit this island next year on my birthday.
